June Clever

Tell me it isn't so... I know I had to be seeing and hearing things. I took my kiddos into the daycare at church on Sunday. The lady in front of me turned and says oh go ahead I am waiting on my little boys. I am like humm that is weird you have a little baby baby on your hip and looks like a toddler already in the room really you have more?? So I sign my kiddos in and she carries on in her chipper June Cleaver voice about how "yeah they are all set she has back up clothes and everything.. as they are potty training". By this time I am way confused, I look around and up walk her two little twin boys. WHAT?? I back up to let them in and she says in her super chipper voice yeah I have a 3 year old little girl, 2 year old twin boys, and this little snug bug he is 7 months. She carries on to say that she is trying to potty train the little boys and she has a bunch of people saying prayers for them...yeah I bet you do! ~ So she went on to ask me about potty training my little boy and I shared what we had experienced and that was that we went on into church but they ended up sitting right over from me. I kept watching to see if the seams were going to come unraveled in church, If she was going to stand up and start talking in tongue. I was just in amazement as I know how hard it is at my house with 2 kiddos so close together and no help around for hundreds of miles. Some days it feels like a total mess and you just want to cry and hurry to start it all over again. Here June Clever walks up with not 2 but 4 all under the age of 3 and makes it seem effortless... and she literally looked like June Clever too. I think next week I am going to sit by her and maybe some of that super mom junk will rub off on me... sure not the fertility shit I don't need that. Sometimes I wonder what peoples secrets are, what meds they take, or if they just aren't as brutally as honest as I am and they walk around like June Cleavers... hummmm just to be a fly on the wall in some people's houses then you would know. :0)

A little piece of magic...

I have a dear friend that gave me a movie during a rough patch in my life and I cherish it dearly. I pull that movie out to watch it every now and then... Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium. To most it is a kids movie to me it is so much more if you have not seen this movie you should it is great and I dearly love the story. I think it is a great message to most and to kids well the magic and toys and imagination make it just grand. The wooden block stands for a ton of things in my life and well my friends as well.. we tend to pass this around in our circle of friends and outside too. We have life sayings we have engraved on these blocks and we give them as gifts and then we each set them on our desk at work or home and pass the story along. I know it reminds me of the movie and its message as well as each little saying and for sure a smile each day... and how blessed I am to have the great friends and the blessings I do. During the movie one of the Quotes goes like this.. Life is an occasion rise to it.... how true this is so many people take it for granted and never take advantage of what life has to offer.
Here are a few others that we have put on our blocks
  • A person is not old until regrets take the place of dreams
  • Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain
  • Where you end up isnt the most important thing. It's the road you take to get there. The road you take to get there is what you will look back on and call your life. Not reaching success isn't the end of the world. Not trying to reach it is.

PHYSCO Cadillac

Well it is official!! I knew it was going to happen, you hear about it all the time, I thought we had awhile but NoOOooOo the time is here the "PHYSCO Cadillac" dad has appeared..yess sir ree.
So let me start from the beginning and tell you Cooper is taking swimming lessons again. So we show up for the first day of class kinda early and this cute little boy is there waiting by the little colored sign assigned to our class. His parents are standing there as well and we introduce the kiddos and say hi to each other and they seem pretty nice and normal. The teacher comes over ask the kiddos names and in order to waste a little time decides to throw little plastic balls. So Cooper gets the ball and rares back and throws an over hand ball and it goes past the teacher an ok throw... Next thing I hear is ok Joseph your turn..he is all timid and kinda flubs the ball. Dad has a vein that kinda pops out on his forehead "come on Joseph you know how to throw a ball overhand"..meanwhile my kid has bent down grabbing a grasshopper and doing his own thing. The dad leans over and says I coach t-ball, pop warner football, and soccer..Cooper speaks up and says I play t-ball too. I am like shhhh Cooper he will eat you for dinner dude! I kinda grin at the guy and say umm yeah great.. next thing I know class is starting out of no where come about 10 family members of Joseph's. Looks like a big ole Lebanese family. Grandma has a camera going, the mother just kept this smile painted on her face the whole time prolly out of embarrassment. The teacher was trying to get a feel for these kids and their level of ability I guess and ask them to scoop their hands, physco dad leans over to whisper to mom like watch this he is good he knows how to do this. Cooper of course jumps off the step and swims off into never never land. Now it is Joseph's turn..Joseph didn't do so well... so all of a sudden I hear the dad from the hot tub located beside the little pool that we were taking lessons in "JOSEPH YOU KNOW HOW TO DO SCOOPS".... ok so the kid had not even stepped off the kiddie step..poor kid. Look over and here comes the beast out of the hot tub the vein fully out of the forehead... "JOSEPH YOU KNOW HOW TO DO SCOOPS" ... I felt so bad for this kid he is for sure going to have a rough childhood. he had a rough class the dad didn't let up even after class was over the dad went nad had a talk witht he teacher...dude seriously it is a damn swimming class not the olympics and he is 3 for gods sake. The dad had to be that band nerd who the minute he had a kid signed him up for every sport (yeah at the age of 3)and now is the coach to ensure he is hopefully the cool kid. Shewwww I know it is going to get much worse as my boys get older and continue to play sports but I totally sit back in amazement as this guy went bozo pulling up his coaching shorts every 5 seconds on his shaved ass chest and pushing up his nerd glasses and pacing the floor sucking in his gut and trying not to look down to see if it was in far enough...we still have 3 weeks left of swimming lessons oh lord please give me the strength to keep my mouth closed.

Every rose has it thorns.....

Finally, I got the rose bushes I have always wanted. They haven't bloomed out to be big and pretty just yet but they will I have faith. We kinda bought them at the wrong time..in the clearance out dead bin at the local Lowe's. I am not sure what my fascination with rose bushes is but I think they are so pretty. Maybe it is the fact you have to admire their beauty from afar if you get to close and touch they will stick you. kinda like a lot of things in life. :0) Keep your distance admire them and move on. My hubby even planted them in a small piece of home for me, a Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel.
I love it cause each day my little boy goes out to water them for me and comes in with a big smile to tell me "mommy I water your roses for you" my whole family even knows how much I enjoy them. Ahhhh they just make me smile..it is the small things in life I tell ya.

Ahh cheeseyyyy

I have always loved these cheesey "stick your head in the hole" things that you do when you are a tourist or at some big theme park. Well I consider myself a tourist almost everyday of my life or at least I feel that way.. I constantly have a camera around my neck, dressed like a dork cause I have 2 little little kiddos, and heck we all know I get lost going anywhere. ummm that makes ya a tourist :0) So as we were out this past weekend I ran across the best one yet... I have both of my kids even saying "hey Boo Boo" hehe I love it~ fun times!~

Cake & Great Parade if I do say so myself...

Here is a picture of Cooper's birthday cake he made all by himself (not much help from the big peeps at all) for our Country's birthday. I think this may be a new tradition around our house..he seemed to have so much fun & mommy like the whole idea. God bless our country.

We took the boys to a 4th of July parade and it was soo much fun. I forgot how much I love parades... and especially for our wonderful country. It was really nice and people were more than gracious & so patriotic...I love small towns. We had a fun packed weekend and shewww not sure about having to go back to work, I need to recover...just a little. This year has to be one of the best yet... we loaded it full of fireworks, swimming, great food, and an awesome bunch of friends.

Little Masterpiece

My oldest is learning about the 4th of july and what it means at school. It is so cute he tells me it is our country's birthday and how we should have balloons and cake for sure. Oh yeah and can we sing he says?? I thought these pictures were just great that he created at school and he is also very proud of them.
This one in case you were wondering is fireworks.. you see it all now right??
