Fun Times= hard long days

SO here are a few pictures of my week at this event... we had fun as you can tell but long 16 hour days in heels made it rough on a momma!! Then the fact of not seeing my kids for over 8 days straight.. yikes!~ I am so glad to be home now if I can just stay awake :0)
The Bear Bryant hat was super popular but no one had much of a clue

Not sure the blond Dolly Parton hair do was working out for me.. but I loved loved loved the Alice in Wonderland hat.

Happy Birthday PaPa!~

My PaPa's birthday is actually on Valentines Day..kinda crazy I never really knew knew him but I think of him every Valentine's Day and every Year on my Birthday. If it sounds weird well it probably is his birthday is on Valentine's Day and he went to heaven so close to my birthday and I remember it so vividly. I was super young 3 days away from being 6 years old. Amazing how such a man could leave such a impact on such a little girls brain, but he was quite a man I do tell ya. Here is what I remember:

he was a big man (looks at his hands above)

he always stopped at the back kitchen sink to wash his hands

he never let me touch the TV NEVER

he was VERY dark complected-that has helped me out thanks PaPa!~

he always sat on the back porch in a black metal chair watching the pasture field

he never laughed much

he always sat at the end of the table for dinner and drank tea out of a green rippled glass

he kept his car spotless

he helped me eat a peach & showed me how to plant it :0) - that thing really grew too

he always let me ride the tractor with him

The ONE thing I remember the most is the man wore a full set of dentures and he would pop them out and put them back in his mouth several times and just laugh. It would scare me if not gross me out but he loved it! Now my dad does it to my kids ..LOL and my littles think they can take their teeth out of their head like that too.

You know... I think about all these things as I watch my dad with my kiddos and know they are making great memories too. So glad my kids call my dad PaPa and kept a great thing going.. Miss you PaPa and thank you for the wonderful memories.. I know you are keeping them all straight up there in heaven and will straighten the rest of em out when they get there... :0) Happy Happy Birthday to You !~

We had our traditional Valentine's Day weekend. We ordered a heart shaped pizza and watched movies. We had the valentine's gifts and my boys are so good to their mommy I tell ya some girl is going to be lucky some day...meanwhile I am a lucky mommy!!
I got flowers, a sweet little Pandora charm w/ red hearts on it to add to my bracelet, and cookies that are pink with sprinkles they thought I would just love (wink) that they have eaten almost every single one of them.. don't cha love it.
I think the Bobber pictures are almost over but we still have fun trying to make them work..LOL.

These girls are the best ever and for sure their mommy made over..well the oldest is a clone. YIKES~

AS always we are the two left to goofing around..and well 38 years later much hasn't changed!! We have already started planning the 40 years we have blessed this earth and believe me a few of you may feel it shake...there is your 2 year warning. Bahh Haa Haa

Thelma & Louise

This river is called Snake River and it twisted and turned for miles like a snake it was so far down on the sides and so pretty... all I could think is wonder how cold that water is??

You only ever see these mountains on postcards but they are just as pretty in person...and from the car it was burrrr rabbit there but they claim it was a heat wave. I say if it is cold enough to snow it is to damn cold :0)

Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, & Nevada~ I saw those four states all in 48 hours. We were movin on like Thelma and Louise I tell ya. My bestest friend since kindergarten and I decided to do a girls weekend. We had so much fun did a little gambling and lord a beee... I have decided those people all need help. They sit all day smokin, drinkin, & dumpin money in machines shewww I work a little too hard for those green little presidents. Either way we had a wonderful time and have decided it is now a tradition to carry on and we are gonna add peeps to our list.. great friends, old memories, making new ones, and a much needed weekend to just decompress...

One Great Party!~

We had my youngest 2nd birthday party and look out!! after a woork week that consisted of 70+ hours. I still pulled off quite the party if I do say so myself, a little tired no doubt. Look out SAHM's its a new revolution!~

Of course, we had to throw in the sprinkle covered marshmallows my oldest kiddo made them himself for his brudder. It was a great party and we all had a blast ...thanks to all you guys coming over to share the wonderful day with us...
