Happy Happy day!~

A year ago today was one of the happiest moments ever..our wittle guy finally got to come home from the hospital. I caught a few pictures of his first day home and just thought these were priceless. I remember we had to room in with him the night before, so we were sure we knew how to properly feed him. Sounds crazy I know, but with a preemie that is one TOUGH JOB.. so much so I would say it has affected alot the entire year. Either way this was one great day and I am so glad our little guy has grown so well.... God is Great!~

For Real??

So most of you have seen the news by now and know some crazy ass flew his plane thru a building here in our town. All because he was mad at the IRS... ummm yeah I am sure they had every reson to be auditing his ass too. If that wasn't enough look at this...
Yeah these two ginzels are lollie gagin along back towards the site. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? they are like in full motion.. do they not remember 9/11? I mean the whole building collapsed and people got super sick from all the dust and junk. At this point they had no idea of the details if there was more to come or anything. Plus there had to be enough chaos down there and they sure didn't need twiddle dee and twiddle dum to come be in the way. It just amazes me...there are several more pictures of people just standing around taking pictures and on cell phones.. no one in any real big rush to go anywhere.

Thought for the Day~

I get these little thoughts for the day everyday in my work email and this one today just kinda made me smile. It is so true and I am so glad I am a strong person..

Lollipop Factory

So most of you know I work at Dell. One of our commercials came on last week. Probably the best one we have so far, in my opinion. Making the colored laptops and singing

So Cooper sings along and I tell him mommy works there. No more conversation nothing. A few days later we are getting ready for school and I tell Cooper mommy is going to work and he looks at me ands says "to the lollipop factory?" huh? it took me a minute to figure out that he thought I worked literally in the lollipop factory. So I explained no no no we make computers. Even though I have explained this over and over I still get home late last night and he meets me at the door saying " where u been? ...da lollipop factory?" So you know I thought about it.. Lollipop factory sounds good to me..I will take it can't be that bad of a place to work right?

What a Sweet Sweet day!

I think I am going to like all this valentine lovin from my boys...they were so sweet. I got flowers (picture does them no justice-i missed the roses and the lillies in it-oops), big hugs a kisses, a great card that I will keep forever, a few of our favorite CD's to sing along with on rock out Saturdays. I have one who loves to sing and the other who loves to dance..so it works out perfect. It was super sweet and cute to hear my oldest ask me to be his "Bal-en-tine" awww and the Heart shaped pizza was the big hit..and so yummy too.

My Valentine's

Luke was playing Peek-A-boo and Cooper was making funny faces..

I didn't scan my card cause I had a back to it so oh well you shoulda got it in the mail anyway :0) Here are the pictures that were on the boys Valentine's Day card this year. Aren't they the sweetest little things? Luke as always is laughing... and Cooper by now almost 3 years is probably sick of the camera.

So I have to share this story, I think it is funny but my husband saw NO humor. Most of you know I am out of commission. Thanks to my great big gift from Santa this year. Therefore, that means my hubby has had to pick up my slack plus his own. That includes picking the boys up from school everyday. He had them all picked up and home. He gets our oldest of 2 out of the truck first so he comes around the truck with my hubby. My Hubby opens our garage door and proceeds around to the other side to get the youngest out. Normally, the oldest is on a bug hunt while you get the baby out BUT not this particular day....As the garage door is opening guess what??????

My oldest decides to grab a hold of the garage door handle..yeah so he is going right on up with it. My hubby like most men are very focused on the job at hand so no eyes out of the back of the head like Mommies have... my hubby turns around to see our kiddo hanging onto the handle of the garage door and his feet a swinging and the door still moving. My hubby saw a small glimpse of his future flash in front of his eyes. I would not have thought he was strong enough to hold on to the door that long as it was moving BUT I was wrong. Da Hubby runs over to let little man down...they both enter the house with a weird somber.

The Hubby says "tell Mommy what you did"

So my oldest proceeds to explain and did a pretty good job.. He is in the middle of saying "me don't know"" after every question you ask him. When he knows the answer. So I thought FOR SURE when I said "well why did you do that" I would get the usual "me don't know, Sorry mommy!" BUT NO.. he had a reason and knew it. "Twas me go high high in da sky mommy.. pssheeewwww like a rocket ship to da moon" while my hubby is still trying to get his whits back about him.. I can't help but laugh, as I explain how you should never ever do that again. Ahhh the great times of having boys and I am sure that is the mild version for what is yet to come. No Fear I tell ya!~

Could not have said it any better myself ~

I just love MAXINE... and I crack up every time I see one of her cartoons. I feel like her most days. Seems to me that, I keep running into more and more CrAZy people in this world. I mean am I just a idiot magnet? God sends them to me to be like Maxine and just blurt out the obvious...I try to control myself most days. Honest I do!~ The difference is Maxine can get away with it a little easier cause she is old. Most just say Bless her Heart and move on..for me it is more like that BITCH. Oh well you win some you loose some... but geez come on people you don't really believe the SHIT that just rolled out of your mouth ..Do You??

Eber Seen Dis?

Have you ever seen or heard of Cakebread Wine? They have had a great marketing model ,so much so, that it is hard for the average consumer to get their hands on this great wine. They started out just selling to higher end dining establishments. Now finally, you can get this at a local wine store. I have noticed you have to ask for it and then they work their magic to get it in the store. Anyway, I treated myself to a bottle of this great wine. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you try it too. I normally drink La Crema but this is for sure a nice treat.

What a Hobby~

I have to say I wish some days I knew and could pull off such great cakes. Mine never seem to unstick from the pan or end up with too much of something and taste awful. Yeah never been the cook around town. The lady that watches my kiddos has just out done herself on cake making skills..she has them for sure! She made this cake for my kiddos first birthday party. It was SOOOOOO good and it looked awesome and matched the invites perfect. It had Godiva chocolate in the middle of moist white cake.. YUMMY YUMMY...

Too Cute/ Are you Kidden again??

Another cute project completed successfully. I usually make these little stools for all the kiddos we know when they turn one. They are so useful for just about any and everything. People keep asking when I am opening a business but yeah no thanks on that one.. I enjoy making these but not that much. Although, I did see one web site charging a $100 bucks for these things really?? Amazes me how people spend money...

So this is kinda a 2 part blog... I just wanted to say Poor Stevie Nicks.. having to share a stage with the non singin little Taylor Swift last night. Someday! Someday! is all I can say.. I can't believe people think that little girl has talent. Maybe her song writing skills (I question that) but for sure NO skills in singing... UGH makes my skin crawl.
